For new Alliance characters, you will discover Peacebloom and Silverleaf all over the new areas. You can find lots of herbs in the new areas, however if you are just trying to level the best places is Elwynn Forest. There is ample room and open areas to discover herbs

WoW Herbalism Guide (Horde) 1-75
New Horde characters can find lots of new herbs throughlout new areas. The area around Thunder Bluff is expansive, and the optimum place to find herbs quickly is Silverpine Forest, outside of Undercity. The area is smaller and has lots of herbs to grow your skill level.

WoW Herbalism Guide Level 75 – 150
For both Horde and Alliance, the ptimum place to level after reaching 75 is the Barrens. If you are Alliance, the Barrens is Horde territory, so you will be red to them. You are also able to farm herbs in Westfall which is a safer route because it is Alliance territory.

WoW Herbalism Guide Level 150-225
There are lots of areas to disover herbs at this level. Wetlands is a neutral area that had lots of PVP before the expansion packs. It is now more quiet and is a super place to find herbs. You can find herbs in the Arathi Highlands area near the farms, as well as in the mountainous areas surrounding the zone. Arathi Highlands has plenty of PVP, so stay on the alert to protect your stash.

WoW Herbalism Guide Level 225-300
Feralas is an incredible area to find herbs. If you are a lower level, make sure to stay away from the Dire Maul area. It is a level 60 instance although the Feralas area is a 50ish zone.
After reaching herbalism 250, the Plaguelands are great areas to reach 300. It is a quiet zone even though it is PVP. You can find plenty of good herbs that you can use in potions or sell for gold at the auction house.

WoW Herbalism Guide Level 300-375
Level 300 reaches the expansion pack skill. Spending some time in Hellfire Peninsula is the best area for collecting herbs. After reaching about 330, head to Zangarmarsh, Terrokar,and Nagrand for the best variety and plenty amounts of herb nodes to farm.

WoW Herbalism Guide Level 375 – 450
Herbalism at this level has a lot of PVP since the expansion pack. You can start farming quickly by farming in the starting areas for Alliance and Horde such as Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra.
After spending some time in those areas, you can head to Icecrown and Storm Peaks to find herbs for raid pots and flasks.

WoW Mining Guide

WoW Mining Guide

If you are new at playing World of Warcraft, you will need to make a decision on two main professions. There are many professions to select from. Themain character should have a profession that suits it's needs. Mining is perfect for characters that wear mail or plate armor. Almost all blue or purple patterns will provide you with epic gear for leveling and you won't need to spend a large amount of gold at the auction house. This WoW Mining Guide will provide for you a basic tour of the materials, areas, and trainers to help level your mining profession quickly.

When you begin, training is necessary to have the mining skill.

WoW Mining Guide Trainers:

WoW Alliance Trainers:
Gelman Stonehand: (Alliance Trainer - Stormwind)Kurdram Stonehammer: (Alliance Trainer - Darkshore)Matt Johnson: (Alliance Trainer - Duskwood)Brock Stoneseeker: (Alliance Trainer - Thelsamar)Geofram Bouldertoe: (Alliance Trainer - Ironforge)Yarr Hammerstone: (Alliance Trainer - Kharanos)Dank Drizzlecut: (Alliance Trainer - Dun Morogh)Muaat: (Alliance Trainer - Exodar)

WoW Horde Trainers:

Brom Killian: (Horde Trainer - Undercity)Makaru: (Horde Trainer - Orgrimmar)Brek Stonehoof: (Horde Trainer - Thunder Bluff)Belil: (Horde Trainer - Silvermoon City)

For the expansion packs, it is necessary to go to the cities located in the new areas for Master skill and Grand Master skill. Below is the list of trainers for each expansion pack.

Hurnak Grimmord: (Alliance Trainer - Honor Hold)Fendrig Redbeard: (Alliance Trainer - Valiance Keep)
Krugosh: (Horde Trainer - Thrallmar)Jonathan Lewis: (Horde Trainer - Vengeance Landing)

After you have trained at one of these locations , it is necessaryto buy a mining pick at any location (usually located next to the mining trainer) that offers profession equipment. You can also purchase a very inexpensive pair of gloves in the auction house and have the +5 mining skill enchanted on them. In addition to this WoW Mining Guide, it will make leveling your skill simpler, and you will miss less without having to retry.

I have listed each vein and the relevant skills that are necessary. If your character is high level, and you just need to level your mining quickly, you should bring a alot of bag space so that you can go about mining through the different areas without having to come back to the city to sell and get more bag space.

Vein Type and Skill Required * Copper (1)* Tin (65)* Incendicite (65)* Silver (75)* Lesser Bloodstone (75)* Iron (125)* Indurium (150)* Gold (155)* Mithril (175)* Dark Iron (230)* Truesilver (230)* Small Thorium (250)* Rich Thorium (275)
* Fel Iron Deposit (300)
* Adamantite Vein (325)
* Rich Adamantite Vein (350)
* Cobalt Node (350)
* Khorium Vein (375)
* Rich Cobalt Node (375)
* Saronite Node (400)
* Rich Saronite Node (425)
* Titanium Node (450)

I have listed the skills necessary to smelt the types of ore that you mine. Some smelting requires 2 of the types of ore. For example, bronze smelting requires 1 Copper ore and 1 tin ore. If you are purely leveling and for the purpose of this WoW Mining Guide, it is a good idea to smelt those which require 1 per skill up.

* Copper (1)* Tin (65)* Bronze (65)* Silver (75)* Iron (125)* Gold (155)* Steel (165)* Mithril (175)* Truesilver (230)* Dark Iron (230)* Thorium (250)
* Smelt Fel Iron (300)
* Smelt Felsteel (300)
* Smelt Adamantite (325)
* Smelt Etenium (350)
* Smelt Khorium (365)
* Smelt Cobalt (350)
* Smelt Saronite (400)
* Smelt Titanium (450)
* Smelt Titansteel (450)

WoW Mining Guide 1-75 (Alliance)

For skill levels 1 through 75, it is neccessary to compete against your own faction for ore. Be certain to turn on mine tracking or you will miss different veins while you are questing. The optimum area to level up to 75 is the Darkshore zone. If you are a high level with a mount, concentrate your search in the mountains east of the zone. All throughout the mountains of Darkshore you will find copper, bronze, and occasionally silver.

WoW Mining Guide 1-75 (Horde)

Silverpine Forest outside of Undercity has the most dense area of veins for mining beginners. It is also quiet, and you will compete against those in your faction ,instead of engaging in PVP.

While I do suggest these areas, you will discover copper and bronze veins in any beginning city. You can also find lots of 1 through 75 veins in any area where the level for questing is about 1 – 20.

Once you have reached 75 in mining, you will need to go see a trainer again to increase your skill to allow you to get to 150 mining which is the next step. Subsequently, you will need to train again to 225, again for 300, and again for 375. Before going through this WoW Mining Guide, make sure to remember to go to your trainer each time you reach the maximum.Mining 66-125 - Tin and Silver (Alliance and Horde)

The Barrens is a super area to mine for the next level. Unfortunately for Alliance, this is a Horde zone. You can get through the zone by running through Ashenvale down the road. When you arrive at a fork, head north toward the barrens. Also, Thousand Needles is a super area to level up mining. There are many veins in both areas to help you to the next skill level.

Mining 126-175 - Iron and Gold
There are many areas to find these two types of veins and level up. Desolace is a super place because it is almost always devoid of other placers. Another super place is Badlands. All areas of Badlands have caves and mountainous areas for mining. Arathi Highlands is another place to farm for veins, although there is much more PVP in the area.

Mining 176-250 - Mithril and Truesilver
Tanaris has excellent mining potential at this level, but you can encounter a lot of PVP. Hinterlands can bring a profit as well. For great mining, Searing Gorge is empty with the exception of a few levelers.

Mining 251-300 – Thorium
Un’Goro Crater is extremely popular to level mining at this level. It is a tiny area, very condensed, and lots of nodes to increase skill. For a less populated area, Eastern and Western Plaguelands are super for increasing mining at this level.

Mining 301-325 - Fel Iron
Hellfire Peninsula is the main area to discover Fel Iron nodes. They can be located in other Burning Crusade areas as well. Zangarmarsh is a secondary area.

Mining 326-350 – Adamantite
Nagrand is a plethora of profession areas. Mining is one of these and you can find it a quick place to increase mining skill.

Mining 351-375 Rich Adamantite / Khorium
Khorium is a hard-to-find vein, but rich adamantite is more abundant. These ore veins are primarily in Blades Edge Mountains .

Mining 376-400 Cobalt / Rich Cobalt
Howling Fjord is the first place in the WOTLK expansion for increasing mining. You can increase from higher end nodes from BC prior to moving into a new zone as well.

Mining 401-450 Saronite / Rich Saronite
Sholazar Basin is probably the best places to mine with the new expansion pack. Expect plenty of PVP and competition for veins. You can also find other veins that are green if PVP becomes too fierce.

I suggest you take up Blacksmithing to maximize the effectiveness of your Mining profession. To get the most benefit out of this WoW Mining Guide check out the WoW Blacksmithing Guide.

WoW Alchemy Guide Level 1-50

When you first begin to power your alchemy, you are able to make healing potions. You can quickly make these and possibly sell them in the auction house, but they should be saved because they can be utilized for future skill leveling.

WoW Alchemy Guide Level 50 -125

Now you can take those minor healing potions , and quickly convert them to lesser healing potions. This will bring you to skill level 125. Remember, when you hit 75 to train, or you will be wasting materials.

WoW Alchemy Guide Level 125 – 200

Once you learn the skill to make healing potions, you can make these until you reach level 140. Next, start making lesser mana potions until you reach roughly155 skill level. Once you reach 155, begin making greater healing potions until you reach roughly level 185. Then, make elixir of agility potions until you max out at level 200.

WoW Alchemy Guide Level 200-265

Continue making elixirs of agility until about level 210. By this time they are green to you, so change over and begin making elixir of defense until you reach 215. Go ahead and make superior healing potions until skill level 250. Remember to train when you reach 225 or you will waste your materials. Start creating elixir of detect undead and elixir of agility until you reach 265.

WoW Alchemy Guide Level 265-300
This level is really pretty simple. You can begin with making superior mana potions and continue to 300 making major health potions.

WoW Alchemy Guide Level 300-375

This is the skill level that contains the Burning Crusade expansion pack. To begin, make volatile healing potions until you reach about 330 in skill level. Then make sneaking potions until you reach about level 350. Finally, make super healing potions until you max out at level 375.

WoW Alchemy Guide Level 375-450

At this point, it will help your gold reserve to have herbalism as your other profession. If you have plenty of gold , then buying the materials will get you quickly to 450. Begin by making guru’s elixir and elixir of mighty strength. Then begin making elixir of mighty agility and runic healing potion. Continue by making runic mana potions until it turns green and start making Transmute: Earthsiege Diamond. One more step to hitting 450 is to make Flask of the Frost Wyrm with 75 Icethorn.

We suggest that you choose Herbalism to make the most out of Alchemy so this WoW Alchemy guide goes perfectly with the WoW Herbalism Guide.

WoW Warlock Guide

For An INSTANT DOWNLOAD: CICK HERE You're reading post 2 of our WoW Warlock Guide. For post 1, check out: World of Warcraft Warlock Guide (page 1)

How To Deal With Pets

Pets are crucial for the success of the Warlock. Your first pet is an imp because Warlocks utilize demons as pets. It is unfortunate that your first imp is not much help. However, once you get past the tenth level, you can upgrade to a more useful pet. One that will have additional skills and can inflict more damage.

The Voidwalker is the most common pet for a Warlock because they are excllent at taking damage. They can be used early in the game however, many players like to keep them around because they are so useful. At a later point, you will have to deal with the Succubus, Fellhunter, Fellguard and the Infernal. They require at least one soul shard to buy, and they can't be obtained until you reach specific levels. For you to obtain an Infernal, it is necessary to acquire an Infernal Stone. As you come near level 50, be on the lookout for one.

Click Here for the Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide

How To Earn Money

The Warlock needs various techniques to acquire gold in the game. Most characters will go grind a mob. A Warlck's best bet is to concentrate on their professions. Players will always want healing potions and enchanted objects. You will be in good shape once your skills allow you to make rare items .
.

Now It's Time To Put It All Together

You have now learned how to make money, how to make use of a pet, and what skills your Warlock possesses. Now it is time to get out and play! Sound strategy is the key to your success. The Warlock has to combine long distance warfare with a pet for optimal results. The pet will absorb the damage and you can stay away from the battle.

Learning spells is critical to your success . There are three main types of spells. The first type is called Affliction. These are the spells that affect your enemies health both immediately, and long term. This type of spell is extremely useful and extremely difficult to break.

The second type is known as a Demonology. You must learn the Ritual of Summoning and other skills. Again, this is quite useful in long range warfare, as it can completely disable your enemies.

Destruction is the last type.

You will need to get a little bit more "up front and personal" in warfare to use this spell. However, it is quite effective. As you increase your skill level and experience, you will learn more powerful spells. By the time you reach end game, you will be very well equipped to handle anything.

Even though the Warlock may not be a physically imposing warrior, they are a powerful class that can provide ample amounts of death and destruction when played well. Make time to learn spells and sharpen your skills, and your character will be prolific in Wow.

Want to Level from 1 - 80 Mega FAST? Want Tons More Gold??

If your response to the above questions is yes, then I strongly urge you to check out The Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide.

This regularly updated, critically important guide contains both Horde and Alliance power leveling guides, 200g+/hour gold guide, professions guide, beginners guide, class talent / gear guide, macro guide and more. Click here to go check it out now!

Some players are mistakenly avoiding this class because it isn’t thought to be one that is good at combat , but the truth is, when played well, this is a poweful class that is able to inflict a lot of damage. If you want to play WoW with a bit of a "twist", give this class a shot.

Warlock is probably not a class that is intended for hand to hand combat, however, they have awesome power! As we examine the history of the game, the Warlock is a class that formerly was a mage before straying over to the dark side. How To Begin

Once you have decided to play this class, you need to be aware of some basics. Primarily, the Warlock’s pet is a very valuable asset!. These pets provide an asset for a Warlock very similar to what they do for a Hunter. They provide close range destruction and tank for their owners. This gives the Warlock the opportunity to stay away from the action, casting spells, and staying away from harm.

If your style is hand to hand combat, it would be wise to pick another class. But, if you prefer a strategy based, subtle style of playing Wow, the Warlock is a good choice. Initially, your Warlock isn't powerful, however, as you rise in levels, your skill and experience will increase. Once you obtain a pet, the game will shift in your favor.

Upon reaching level 40, you will secure your first mount and at this point, the game will really change favorably. It won't take long before you get an epic mount through questing, but the one you get initially is still VERY capable.

A Warlock's Tools

As mentioned previously, Warlocks are poor a hand to hand combat. Consequently, your weapons are going to be spells. It is important to recall that once a spell is cast, you can't move. If you change your location, the spell will fail and you will put yourself at risk.

The main source of strength for a Warlock is their mana. Mana most be used wisely as it is depleted with each spell. The Warlock, however, has the unique ability to convert HP into Mana. This can be quite a difference maker in battle.

Choosing The Right Profession

The very worst choices are professions like blacksmithing, skinning or fishing. The optimal professions for a Warlock are herbalism, enchanting and alchemy. Tailoring makes sense as you will need clothing for spell casting. Selecting a primary profession that is supported by a secondary profession, is a wise choice.

Good examples are mining and alchemy to save funds on the components needed for spells. Herbalism and alchemy can help you make potions for yourself and others. This is
the simplest method for a Warlock to make fast cash.
